Newly Released: "From Compliance to Culture" ONLINE Safety Leadership Training || Revised and Updated!As Seen in ASSE’s Professional Safety Journal!

safetyBUILT-IN announces the official release of the updated and revised version of its wildly popular online safety leadership training, “From Compliance to Culture.”  The original online safety leadership training, released over two years ago, has undergone significant revisions and updates, including new videos, materials, and interactive assignments that are designed to build real-world skills for leading a safety culture.

The online class is a blended-learning, self-paced experience modeled after an online college course.  Participants work at their own pace and have up to six months to complete the class.  Each unit contains assignments that must be submitted and graded by an SBI instructor.  The class is constantly monitored by an instructor, and (with few exceptions) assignments are typically graded within an hour of submission, allowing students to complete several units within the same day (where feasible).

At its foundation this safety leadership training consists mainly of a previously-recorded live session of the “From Compliance to Culture” workshop, allowing the participant to undergo the same general experience as any participant who has attended one of our live sessions.  The exercises from the live session have been retained and modified in a way that is appropriate for an online class.  Where practical, exercises have been converted to assignments that participants must complete and submit for grading purposes.

Description of Our Online Safety Leadership Training

This online safety leadership training is targeted to those in leadership (or perceived leadership) roles in the organization. In addition to production/operations leadership (team leaders, supervisors, managers, and directors), all designated safety team-members, safety officers, supervisors, and safety-committee members should also attend this session. As space permits, it’s also recommended to include key leadership from the corporate side to begin spreading the same culture throughout the entire company.
